Part ONE: Balto

I'll tell you a tale, a heroic tale
that I'm sure you've all been told:
the adventures of a dog named Balto,
and his huge heart of gold.

It all began in the town of Nome
back in nineteen twenty-five
a young mix of husky and wolf
was struggling to survive.

This pup's name was Balto; the whole town knew
that wild look was in his face
But he longed to run in a dog team
yet he felt quite out of place.

Local sled huskies howled and jeered
led by the racing champion, Steele;
He wanted the hybrid to mind his place:
"You'll never lead a dog team; that's unreal!"

Yet the lonely pup was not alone
for his guardian Boris was there;
The Russian gander had stuck with him
living in their boat that was far from repair.

But a sudden force was about to strike
as if sent from the heavens above.
In the form of a red beauty named Jenna,
young Balto began to fall in love.

Yet at the same time, tragedy struck
as terrible sickness did multiply.
Without the medicine that they lacked,
the young victims would be doomed to die.

A footrace was held to choose the team
Balto knew - none were as fast as he,
But fate took a turn for the worst
when Steele began to disagree.

"You're a wild animal, half-breed!" he teased.
"Go home and travel with your packs!"
And the team left without the wolfdog
as the dogs began to make tracks.

They recieved the medicine now, you see
but the children quickly got sicker.
Townspeoples' hopes began to fade
as life's light started to flicker.

Rumors spread between the canines
that the serum team strayed the path
and those that were sick were close to death
Time was short... you do the math.

"There must be something I can do,"
thought the wolfdog on and off.
He constantly watched Jenna's girl Rosy,
who suffered from that deadly cough.

Then it was decided that night
that Balto would go through the snow and fog.
Unfortunately he would have to help
Nome's proud top sled dog.

With Boris by his side
and polar bears Muk and Luk,
Balto trekked Alaska's winter terrain
and things ran quite amok.

They were found in the woods by a giant bear,
who attacked with unknown cause.
It swiped and bit the air fiercely
with its sharp teeth and claws.

Jenna arrived just in time,
their demise she was able to prevent.
Through her weeping sadness,
she had bravely tracked Balto's scent.

The large grizzly was soon defeated
but Balto fell through some ice.
Muk and Luk, though afraid of water,
dove in without thinking twice.

The wolfdog was saved by his furry friends
but Jenna got a sprained ankle bone.
He got the goose and cubs to escort her home;
It was time to go at it alone.

Before the gang departed for home,
the hybrid's guardian gave him a wise, parting thought:
"Don't forget you are both dog and wolf -
you can do things that they cannot."

And so Balto continued, following his nose
and found the team on a cliff of rock and snow.
The medicine was safe, but the freezing dogs
couldn't figure out which way to go.

But Steele refused the hybrid's help
for he was filled with pride.
He fought while Balto stood his ground
but the malamute fell over the cliff's side.

Now the team could continue onward
now with Balto taking the lead;
but Steele was not done for yet, you see,
for he made marks for Balto to misread.

The black and white champ had arrived at home;
the Nome dogs welcomed him back, surprised.
"Where's the medicine? The others?" they wondered.
Steele told them they were lost - they all had died.

Then he tugged on a red fabric
revealing that Balto also was left to die.
Jenna sobbed, then knew the truth:
"It's not true! It's all a lie!"

She told herself not to give up hope,
the team's return, she seemed to know.
The purebred created a make-shift aurora
using bottle glass and a lantern's glow.

Overtime, Steele's plan had successfully worked;
the markings' scent had lost its sniff.
The medicine was nearly lost for good
Balto caught it, but he too, fell over a snowy cliff.

The wolfdog felt defeated,
he was about to throw in the towel.
But a large, misty-white lupine
acknowledged and let out a howl.

He turned his head in shame,
rejecting his wolfhood inside,
but all of a sudden, he thought again;
Boris's words were now clarified.

He let his wild half cry out freely
as he answered the white wolf's call.
Together they howled, then spiritually revived
The medicine, he began to haul.

And away they continued, the team and him
along the right path where people would eagerly await,
Through ice caves, avalanches and snow piles,
Balto hoped that they were not too late.

Balto saw the sign of the Northern Lights,
he knew Jenna believed he would find a way.
The team was safe! The medicine was here!
Balto had truely saved the day!

People lost their fear of the wolfdog,
their love for him grew and grew.
And the words of Rosy spoke the truth:
Balto, they would have been lost without you!

So give three cheers for Balto,
for his courage and determination;
His story has touched fans everywhere
from generation after generation!

Part TWO: Wolf Quest

A new adventure is about to begin
months after Balto's heroic deed,
but a raven and a nightmarish dream -
an explanation was something to need.

Ice, cracks, and a dark pack of wolves
awoke Balto in a thick sweat.
His worried guardian Boris knew
these dreams meant something he shouldn't forget.

Walking towards the town of Nome,
the two stopped at the totem pole.
"Those fierce carvings mean something," Boris said.
Yet the real truth was about to unroll.

Suddenly a yipping terrier
sent a message, noisy for what it's worth:
"The stork has landed!" Balto gasped.
Jenna had just given birth!

Now Balto was the proud papa
of six puppies, limb from limb
Five maintained their mother's looks
while one pup resembled him!

The six-pack of pups were growing strong
and Balto's visions continued on cue.
Soon it was shown that Aleu was unique:
she was more wolf-like than "you-know-who!"

The time came for the pups to go on their own,
although letting go was hard for the heart.
Jenna knew that they were old enough now -
it was their time for a brand-new start.

Young Dingo was the first to go
then his siblings soon had homes of their own.
Until the sunset ended the adoption
and left Aleu in the box alone.

Her father sighed, yet still Jenna tried,
waiting until a home for her was found.
But Balto knew she wouldn't have a human;
it was all due to her wild background.

Thus the seasons changed and time flew by
making Aleu over one year old.
She still hoped for a human's love
for her father's secret, she wasn't told.

While playing one day in the woods,
she noticed a human's face.
"He wants to adopt me!" she cheered happily;
Unfortunately, this was not the case.

The man was a hunter, rifle in hand
with a raven's image on his knapsack.
The human loaded the gun and aimed at Aleu -
seeing a wolf - and was about to attack.

Just in time, Balto defended his child
soon Boris and bears followed closely behind.
They got away safely, with Aleu quite confused;
Time came for peace of mind.

"What's going on? I thought he could be mine!"
Aleu spoke like an innocent, little child.
"He was a hunter," Balto broke the news.
"That human thought you were born wild."

"This cannot be true! I'm a husky too!"
Her hope would not last long.
"It's time you knew the truth, Aleu -
It's me; I was born only half-dog."

"My dad was husky, my mom was a wolf.
I guess I'm a mix of the two.
Your siblings have wolf yet have husky looks,
but sadly, the wolf shows more strongly in you."

"This isn't fair!" Aleu shouted back
as she headed for the untamed wood.
Balto knew she needed some time alone;
"She'll come back like a good pup should."

During a nap, Balto's dream returned anew
mentioning animals that entered the scene
Wolf, Fox, Wolverine, Bear and Caribou
To him, what did they all really mean?

He awoke from the dream, with Aleu still not home.
"Maybe with her mother, she's safe and sound."
He went to Jenna's, both were surprised by the fact
that Aleu was currently running wild.

"I'll go look for her!" Jenna volunteered,
but Balto told her to stand aside.
"It's my fault she got angry and ran away.
The responsibility to find our daughter is mine."

So off he went into the woods
to seek his daughter's scent.
The raven from his dream appeared to him
so he asked it where she went.

"Help me find my daughter!"
The raven flew to a tree bridge connected by rocks.
With a waterfall underneath him,
the fog cleared revealing a sly, sneaky fox.

"I can help you find the little runaway,"
she said. "But I'll do it for a price.
Help me out of this hunter's snare,
and I'll give you your useful advice."

Balto set the small fox free,
but she pushed him into the brink.
The cunning trickster, she was
but he flowed with the current, unable to think.

He landed on a patch of land at the water,
where Boris and the cubs looked around.
They saw him at last, and ran to his side,
but a sudden thick fog made him nowhere to be found.

Balto was aroused from his short nap
by a whiff of his child's scent nearby.
"Don't worry about me, I'll bring her home!"
came the hybrid's positive reply.

"But we want to help find Aleu too!"
Said the bears and Jenna in a worried tone.
Boris told them, "I'm sorry; this is their journey.
The part-wolves have to travel on their own."

While Balto dealt with a trio of wolverines
that made him face his fear,
Aleu was following the raven too
and wondering what she was doing here.

She went inside a cave to rest,
but then heard a lovely sound.
She met her spirit guide, Muru,
a mouse that left her spellbound.

"It's time to find out who you are,
your true purpose, that's what you seek.
The journey will be difficult, but
I'm sure you're not too weak."

Aleu left the cave after her spiritual chat,
now dealing with a grizzly bear.
Her father again arrived to save the day,
but a purpose for this, they were not aware.

The young she-dog looked at those golden eyes,
and she could see into the bear's mind.
"We have to jump or else be killed!"
Aleu warned and then pushed Balto from behind.

Both father and daughter were saved,
finally together after that hairy slam.
"We're going home to Nome," but Aleu refused.
"I need to find out who I am."

Onward they traveled to salty waters,
but wild trouble was close at hand.
A clan of wolves lived nearby
And the two were trespassing on their land.

Three rough-looking cronies approached,
Sent to scare them from the ledge.
"We can take them, Papa!" Aleu spoke up,
Yet the lupines had upper edge.

Father and daughter were in trouble now,
until a voice boomed: "STOP!"
It was their pack leader, one named Nava;
as his magic, he used to splash water drops.

"Welcome, you two; I sent for you here,"
The mystical shaman alpha spoke.
"The spirit Aniu tells me soon we will have no food;
We must cross the water to follow it. No joke."

"But this is our land! The home of our birth!"
His rival, Niju, growled in rage.
"Your plan will lead us to our demise!
I'll be a leader that suffers not from old age!"

Nava told his pack that the time was near
for a new alpha to join the show.
"My replacement shall only be
one who is wolf and does not know."

Everyone gasped and stared at the half-breed.
"Papa, is Nava talking about you?"
He was honored to lead, but unfortunately
this was one thing that was brand-new.

"He's off his rocker! He's lost his mind!"
Niju lunged towards the aging mystic.
But Nava was hidden, the young wolf fled.
the leader reappeared from within a tree - how unrealistic!

"How will you lead us, Balto?" Nava asked.
"You know, I'm not quite sure." the hybrid said.
At the same time, Aleu's eyes glowed gold
as visions of caribou flashed through her head.

The young female was confused, she had a plan:
"Let's help them," yet his response he had sworn.
"Your mom is worried, this isn't our problem.
We leave for home tomorrow morn!"

A saddened Aleu wandered that night
as she joined Nava on a rocky cliff.
"Why does Niju want to stay here?
Is he cowardly, scared completely stiff?"

"No, little one," Nava answered with wisdom.
"Niju is not a chicken, just scared of change.
This is his home, the land he knows well.
But food here is out of close range."

Then Aleu thought of what was best,
for the clan, her family and herself.
The morning arrived and Balto was ready
to lead - his worries were on the shelf.

"Crossing is choosing life!"
The half-breed spoke, then a loud CRACK!
"It's a bridge to the caribou!" Aleu realized.
"Once they crossed, they never came back."

"We don't have much time, it's time to go!"
As Balto cried out, "Mush!"
The wolf pack followed, two by two
leaving Niju behind the rush.

"You're heading to your deaths!"
The dark wolf growled. "That will be your doom!"
Suddenly Nava drifted from the pack,
Aleu leaped to help him, but water would soon consume.

In the water, she did swim
escaping a watery cave.
The pup dried off on the ice block,
but trouble was near like a rapid tidal wave.

Niju struck the elder one, about to kill...
"Stop!" Aleu let out a fierce growl.
"I'll show you your place, little girl!"
Niju pounced on the female, ready to finish his prowl.

"Let her go, Niju!" The wolfdog emerged from the depths,
leaving the remaining pack behind.
His thoughts were not of leadership right now;
his wolf-like daughter was first on his mind.

"What about the clan?" Aleu asked
as the air was filled with mournful, lonely cries.
Little did they know, the time was right:
A new leader would soon arise.

"You wanted the chance, Niju! Take it!"
Balto offered the male the position.
"No way! I'll never leave my home!"
The ice cracked, leaving him out of commission.

"Why not Nava?" But the old one was in chagrin.
It was official: He couldn't make the swim.
"I'll go and lead them on," Balto declared,
but Aleu suddenly stopped him.

"No, Papa. That is not your job.
This is where I should be.
I will lead the pack cross the water.
That is my true destiny."

"She has a point," Nava's thoughts were cleared.
"I should have thought more broader.
The one who is wolf and does not know
is not you, but your part-wolf daughter."

Nava gave them time to say their farewells,
but Balto was sad as the winds began to whirl.
"It's hard to let you go," the father said.
"I know, Papa, but I'll always be your baby girl."

They nuzzled happily one last time,
as the light brown pup dived into the water.
Balto proudly remembered times from her birth
and whispered into the breeze: "Farewell, daughter."

Nava assured him that she would be great,
but it was time for the two canines to part.
"I will find my clansman, Niju, for we need the other still,"
He bid goodbye, allowing Balto's journey home to start.

Then a familiar cackling caw landed near the mutt,
as Balto let out a sigh, "What now? Oh brother!"
Magically a white lupine appeared where the raven had landed,
"Aniu?" She howled, answering his query: "Are you my mother?"

Then in a breath of wind, she faded away,
gone from her heroic son's view.
Thus, this ends this second adventure
as Balto returned home with eyes of a new hue.

Part THREE: Wings of Change

Ah, the times are a-changin'
for hybrid Balto and Jenna, his lovely mate,
it's been a couple of years since the sequel -
it's now the year nineteen twenty-eight.

Their young son, Kodiak is living a dream,
running quickly pulling a mail sled;
the husky-like pup wanted to be like his pop
and travel the paths that he had once tread.

Meanwhile, our favorite wolfdog
has his eyes set on the wide-open skies,
since there's something soaring up there
causes Balto once again to fantasize.

He ran after the flying thing on the ground
as it flew above him like a noisy cloud.
Although he couldn't catch that amazing thing,
Balto's curiosity remained wowed.

That thing was a small bush plane,
made with manpower, sweat, and steel.
The pilot, Duke, took a quick liking to Balto,
but the dogs' jobs, he was planning to steal.

Rumor spread throughout the local dogs,
through the use of a barking call
"We have to do something about this
Or we could have no job or home at all!"

"Planes are faster than dogs
when it come to delivering the mail!"
The pilot made a point to the mailman,
but the mushers argued back without fail.

"But this is our job! What else can we do?"
The men began nervously to pace.
Just when the dog team felt all hope was lost,
Dipsy's ears perked up, "It's going to be a race!"

The plane and the team would deliver mail
from Nome to White Mountain, and back again
The first team to return back home
the job of mail carriers, they would win.

"But who should lead us to victory?" Ralph asked all,
"We need someone fast to beat that iron-clad!"
But then they looked at Kodi and he agreed:
"Our leader will be Balto - my brave, heroic dad!"

"Maybe we should think again," he told them -
Balto knew their chances were slim to none.
But the team had faith in the wolfdog and howled a cheer;
That was it, nothing else could be done.

"What can I do?" he asked Jenna for advice.
"I'm worried and scared I'll let Kodi down,"
"He'll be proud of you, no matter what,
I'm sure you won't make him frown."

As his lover spun a tune with her voice,
Balto thought of when his children were small.
Kodi was the smallest, without faith in himself,
But Balto was his courage, even now that he's grown tall.

But he observed that plane the night before,
curious of how it flew - to him, it was neat;
Duke came along, seeing the wolfdog there
and joined him in the pilot's seat.

"I call it The Tundra Express," said the man,
"The feeling of flying is almost carefree."
Balto smiled, imagining himself in the clouds,
hoping that he too could feel so wild and free.

Balto and Kodi weren't the only ones
that had problems on their mind;
It seems that our snow goose Boris
unexpectedly had found quite a find!

A lovely foreign goose named Stella
had flown into his lonely heart,
yet Boris hid a terrible secret from her
that he feared would tear them apart.

The gander asked his companion to help him,
though Balto was quite amused by his demand.
"You're scared of heights? Then tell her the truth!
Don't lie! I'm sure she will understand!"

"No way!" declared Boris in a huff,
But Balto still tried to help him out.
After many attempts of reaching new heights,
Boris' low flying wasn't impressive, no doubt.

But the femme goose was head-over-heels,
she wanted to get closer to the shy male.
She used her seductive voice and buxom figure
to capture his love and affection without fail.

"Come fly with me!" she grabbed his wing
and tried to soar into the blue night.
"My wings, they're still healing! Not yet!"
he chose to lie, hiding his fear of flight.

The day of the great race arrived, though
no one knew what adventure was ahead.
The team was ready, and Balto was too,
his negative thoughts had run off and fled.

"It worked, it worked!" Boris happily spoke up
"Stella fell for my pain!" But he was overheard.
"It was all a lie? How dare you!" she honked in attack.
He landed in that plane: "Goodbye, you lying bird!"

The game was on as the team got ready,
the gunshot went off - Balto's team leapt forward.
The plane finally took off with a blast of wind
And closer, the plane overhead was heard.

They raced through the woods,
full of trees, snow, and speed.
The mountains led them to White Mountain
where, to the dogs' surprise, the plane was in the lead!

"We're only halfway through," Balto spoke up.
"We still stand a fighting chance!"
The teams exchanged mailbags and took off again,
but the plane gave the canines a head start.

Boris, on the other hand, awoke from his slumber,
confused about where he was located now.
"White Mountain? How did I get here?"
He figured the plane would get him to Nome somehow.

The plane took off, at last, on the last leg,
but the cloudy skies blinded his view.
The plane lost control and crashed in the snow,
Both pilot and gander seemed lost; no one had a clue.

Nervousness hit Jenna and her friends at home,
as the great race's end was drawing near.
"It's hopeless! They're done for!" Mel freaked out
until a long howling voice they all did hear.

"It's Balto! The dog team has won!"
They cheered and followed them to the end.
But where was the plane? The hybrid wondered.
And better yet, where's my best friend?

While the sled team celebrated their win
by playing out on the beach's sand,
Balto told his son his thoughts:
"Kodi, change is closely at hand."

"No way! This is our job!" Kodi was furious.
"We beat that pilot's plane fair and square!"
Kodi told his teammates of Balto's prediction,
"We're keeping our jobs!" he stated with a glare.

Suddenly, Muk and Luk came to the wolfdog,
describing a "monster" that fell from out of thin air:
"It was louder than a wild-eyed grizzly!"
Balto and Jenna gasped, knowing a man was out there.

Balto told the team the latest, hoping they'd help
but the huskies were not convinced by the mission.
"He's the enemy, Balto! He'll take our jobs for sure!"
Even Kodi refused to help; sadly, Balto left for his expedition.

Jenna was shocked to see her son,
surprisingly not traveling by his father's side;
"Your jobs mean more than someone's life?"
Her words struck his senses, everything was clarified.

Now with this thought in his head,
Kodi spoke up, even if the others wouldn't care;
"That man is a person; we have to help him too!
If not helping him is part of this team, I'll go elsewhere!"

Kodi departed from his mates, who were
bewildered by the powerful words he spoke.
Their voices were silent; Dusty ran to the door
looking back, knowing they had to follow their bloke.

Stella flew by Balto, as he was leaving the town
and wondered where Boris was hiding himself.
"He was on that flying plane - good riddance!"
Her expression changed; she heard the news herself.

"He's on the plane and it crashed?
Oh no, it's all my fault!" Stella cried in a sob.
She vowed to help the trio find their friend,
her skills of flight were perfect for the job.

After a thrilling avalanche fall
and a sudden rough rapid dip,
Balto, the two bears and the goose
arrived near where Muk and Luk observed the tip.

They were blocked from their destination
by an angered moose, who was about to attack.
The foursome blocked and resisted the male's charges
as he changed focus to another moosely maniac.

The rag-tag team arrived at the wreckage
and started searching for their gander friend.
His frozen-sniff body was under the snow,
but he wouldn't wake up - they hoped this wasn't his end.

But alas! He was alive, but just barely able to move;
they all were glad he was okay and all right.
"Take him home," Balto ordered the bears and goose,
"There's another life that needs saving tonight."

As his companions left the area,
he licked the pilot's frigid face.
"Balto?" Duke was in disbelief.
"How did you find me in this place?"

There was no time for talk now;
the man had to get somewhere safe and warm,
Using a rope and a piece of the broken aircraft,
the duo began to weather a slight snowstorm.

They reached an ice bridge near Nome,
but soon frozen structure began to crack;
suddenly it fell into the abyss, but there was a dilemma:
Duke was falling - Balto's grip was out of whack.

Just when all hope was lost
and Balto released his claws,
an unexpected grab and a pull on the rope
followed a set of friendly, recognizable jaws.

Balto was surprised to see his son,
who was soon followed by his mail squad;
"We're here for a special delivery, Dad,"
Kodi spoke proudly as his proud father gave him a nod.

Mel, Dipsy, and Jenna sat worried and waited
for Balto to return back from his rescue quest.
"It's a lost cause!" Mel feared for the worst,
until that familiar howl put all their fears to rest.

They caught sight of the dogs and the pilot
as dogs howled their welcome into town;
"Balto found me! And his team saved my life!"
Duke spoke his praise, "I knew they wouldn't let me down!"

"Good dogs! Great dogs!" The townspeople cheered,
"They're such a wonderful, hard-working team!"
Everything became right again in little old Nome,
Due to their rescue, the humans' trust, they did redeem.

At last, the spring changes were in full bloom,
Boris told his love the truth about his fear;
Although he lied and gave her a total fright,
the lovely Stella forgave him - she was quite sincere!

That night, the lovers wooed each other,
and underneath the full moon's light,
the now happy couple went swimming
instead of on a midnight flight.

As mother and son sat on a cliff,
and watched the clouds of the daylight sky,
Jenna said Balto was proud of his leadership
while the two watched the bush plane fly by.

Duke and the wolfdog went into the wind,
and soared through the blue, higher and higher;
thanks to recent events, the pilot had a surprise:
The plane's name was now The Balto Flyer!

Balto's greatest adventure had reached the end,
and he did the thing that he loved most;
He saved the day and took the lead,
Is this the end? For Balto's tale, ...almost.

(No, really. That's the end. The finish line.
For Balto and friends, there is no more.
But don't worry, there's still something left:
Here's self-advertising - check out Part FOUR!)

(NOTE: This was written before Steet's interview with Mr. Weinstein was posted, so at least one of these thoughts now has an answer... Hmm, I wonder which one that was...)

Part FOUR: Unanswered and Closing Thoughts

Thus this ends Balto's film reign
yet the fanbase is full of thought
There are many questions to ponder,
and real answers are left unsought.

Who was the proud patriarch
of the half-breed hero we knew
and how in the hell did that lucky pup
meet the great wolf Aniu?

Was he a lead dog in the town of Nome?
Did he move fast on the ground?
Is this how our beloved wolfdog
recieved his dog-sledding background?

What happened to his mother,
an ivory wolf, one Aniu by name?
Was she killed by a hunter to save her son?
How did she get her claim to wolf fame?

Why, after his heroism,
did the local dogs continue to tease
their darling hero, Balto, who saved lives
when Nome was on its knees?

Truly, why wasn't Aleu adopted,
if people accepted her also wolf-like dad?
What were the names of his other two pups,
who were left unknown - isn't that just plain sad?

What happened with the other four pups
that, like Kodi, also found a home?
Did they learn about their 25% wolf side,
run in a team, or stay in home sweet Nome?

Are all the town huskies really purebred
just like the beautiful Jenna was?
Could she ever be a real sled dog
and pull like a true husky does?

Are Dusty and Kodi an item,
or are they just best friends?
Will Muk and Luk finally grow up?
Will Balto and Steele make amends?

Is there a new litter in the future
of Balto and his husky mate?
Can Boris and his boxom Stella
make it past their moonlight swimming date?

What happened after the howling end
with Aleu and her new pack?
Will Nava ever find Niju again?
Will Aleu ever really come back?

How did Jenna take the news
of her daughter's wild fate?
Why wasn't she ever allowed,
on adventures to participate?

And of course, the biggest question of all
remains unknown and a true mystery:
Are the White Wolf and Aniu the same creature
and do they have some type of history?

Are the two lupines related or
are they both just ghosts?
Not a soul really knows,
yet opinions, fans continue to post.

So hear me out, my fellow friends
of Balto fandom and lore:
Do not cry and rant because
New Balto films will be no more.

Remember the good moments
and treasure them for the rest of your life,
and yes, fans, if you wish to rant,
on bad animation, continue to gripe.

It is all left to us true fans now
to create our wolfdog's continued fate
yet we will never forget your true story, and
maybe in the end, it may not be too late.

Perhaps we will see a sequel later on,
since Universal knows we want to see more
Although it's not in their plans currently,
we won't lose hope of seeing a Balto IV!

END
The Ballad of Balto

Summary: A poetic retelling of the Balto trilogy in rhyme... including a finale.

Rating: G for General Audiences.

Note: This was mainly done after hearing the announcement that there won't be a Balto 4 anytime soon. This is dedicated to Balto fans everywhere! Here's to you!

Disclaimer: Balto, Balto: Wolf Quest, Balto: Wings of Change, and all Balto characters belong to Universal Studios. Umm... that's all. Enjoy!
